A fusion of technology and artistry, bringing a fully realized digital character to life!
Snapchat Lens Studio 4 introduced several powerful new features for AR creators. In Miraculous Ladybug and Tikki, we leveraged the Full Body Mesh Resource to bring Ladybug’s suit to life. When the Snapchat camera detects a human body, it generates a dynamic 3D mesh that adapts seamlessly to the user's form—making Marinette’s tight bodysuit an ideal showcase for this capability.
For her mask, we utilized the Face Mesh Resource, which enables the Snapchat camera to recognize facial structures and create a real-time 3D mesh that tracks head movement and facial expressions with precision.
And finally, the most charming element—Tikki. We designed and animated her before importing the model into Lens Studio, bringing the beloved Kwami to life in AR.
